North Bay Nordic's Annual General Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation Night will be held May 12th at 3:30pm at the Portage Hotel on Peninsula Rd.

Wings and Pizza will be provided for all those in attendance!

North Bay Nordic's Racing Team Competed at the 2012 Canadian National Championships in Mont. St. Anne, Quebec from March 17-24.

The conditions are still good and actually quite fast - so we'll continue with the Wednesday Night series! The time change also means that we'll have light as we start to ski. It's sure to be a great ski!

No technique preference today.

The weather looks excellent tomorrow! Sunny and warm - what better time to get the family together and search for Easter eggs?

Come out at 1:00pm and grab a ticket. Then find the corresponding number out on the trails (with a clue) and cash it in for a delicious treat!

Mar 10. Grooming in progress this morning. Trying to groom around big water hole on Blue-x, trying to get Green trail open. Inner trails and Blue should be excellent today.

Mar 8. Spring weather has arrived! The weekend was likely the last of the fresh snow and bitter cold for the season. Now we're into rain and warmer temperatures. It's getting cold tonight though and the trails will be groomed tomorrow morning and again on Saturday. Expect conditions to be quite good (and fast) on Saturday. Because grooming takes awhile in these conditions and the season is drawing to a close we will likely prioritize which trails get groomed. For sure the yellow, purple, gold, blue-x and green will be groomed for the weekend. The long-range forecast calls for warmer weather but we'll groom whenever we get sustained cold weather at night. Stay tuned and enjoy the spring skiing, should be a great weekend of skiing! 

With the longer daylight hours, it's high time that we ski the Green for our Wednesday Night Series! No technique preference this week.
