The 2009/2010 ski season is here! The trails were groomed today with the Pisten Bully and are in excellent (early season) condition. There are a few wet spots and dirty patches but considering the amount of snow we received the trails are in great shape. Watch out for the odd soft spot and rock. The base of snow is still very thin. To protect the base and let the wet spots freeze the trails won't be groomed again until we receive more snow. The excellent conditions are certainly a testament to the years of hard work by the trails committee and dedicated volunteers. The new bridges built over the summer are a welcome sight, especially the final bridge which has been made wider and safer. For a few pictures click Read More.
