2010 JackRabbit Youth Program - Jan 10th |

 The 2010 Jackrabbit program begins this Sunday at 1:30 PM. An email confirming your childs/childrens registration including instructions was sent out on Friday and the JackRabbit instructors have called the parents of their group members. The weather looks good so lets have fun out there.

The Jackrabbit Session for this Sunday will go ahead.
The forecast from Environment Canada for 10:00 this morning is:
North Bay - West Nipissing.
Day: A few flurries ending early this morning then clearing. Wind up to 15 km/h. High minus 17. Wind chill minus 27.
Out my window it is presently sunny with some cloud and little wind
Jackrabbit Leaders will pre-assess the conditions, the ability and preparedness of all individuals and take groups out according their judgement of conidtions at the time. They will also monitor all participants and bring them into the main lodge or Jackrabbit Lodge on more regular basis, if participant appear to be suffering from the cold. We continue to urge parents to exercise their own discretion when they decide whether to bring their child(ren) out for the Jackrabbit Program this Sunday.

 This Sunday, February 25, 2007, the Jackrabbit Skiers will will be racing!
All Jackrabbit Skiers are automatically entered, there is no entry fee. There will be Six classic categories: Girls - Seven and Under
| Boys - Seven and Under
| 1.3 km | Girls - Eight to Nine
| Boys - Eight to Nine
| 2.6 km
| Girls - Ten to Twelve
| Boys - Ten to Twelve
| 3.9 km
|
Start Times for each Event will be: | Time | Group | 1;45 pm
| Girls & Boys - Seven and Under | 2;15 pm
| Girls & Boys - Eight to Nine
| 2;45 pm
| Girls & Boys - Ten to Twelve |
All Races will be Mass Start Please arrive a bit early to have a bib assigned to your child. Awards will begin at 3:15 pm or after the last skier has completed the race. Please come out and cheer your child around the course! |
